Complete set of ten volumes of the works of Anne Thackeray Ritchie, as published by Smith, Elder & Co., 15 Waterloo Place, London. Although the volumes comprise a complete set, each is dated separately, with dates ranging from 1876 (Volume 4) to 1892 (Volume 1) with most being dated 1890.
While the books show some edge, surface and corner wear, bindings remain tight, with clean and fully readable pages. These are not first editions, but were sold as sets of ten by Smith, Elder & Co. who were the original publishers of Mrs. Ritchie's works. Seldom found or offered complete.
